I am truly disgusted with the way a women was treated in regards to her safety. She clearly stated that she had a PPO on her children's father. She stated that she did not feel safe and that she wanted a police officer to escort her to her car. She also wanted the police to ensure that the father had a car seat because the court ordered him to have one. Deputy Kirkpatrick of the Pontiac Police Department refused to assist. I watched her ex-boyfriend laughing at her as a way of taunting and The Great Deputy Kirkpatrick did nothing... Why couldn't he serve and protect? In what way was Deputy Kirkpatrick just? Why does he have a job?
The city doesn't help the people they just want money. The officials and office personnel are rude and disrespectful. They are just making things harder for the city to heal because they just want to line their own pockets. Serve and protect! Ha, what a joke! The system is set up to make the working people fail and the leeches to continue sucking blood.
My experience with this city is one of absolute disgust. I lived here for many years . I have seen shootings, stabbings, 2 murders and my home was broken into twice. When my home was broken into the last time it took the police 4 hours to get there! Actually they didn't really answer the call to come to my house. I had to walk across the street to a traffic stop they were on to ask them to at least clear my house. After all there was a gun safe in the house. Here is the best part. They new about the call and were right across the street on a traffic stop. I guess they thought giving a speeding ticket was more important. So they cleared the house took a report and yes the gun safe was stolen. It took 2 weeks for a detective to call me and when he does he tried to act really concerned. I told him if you were so concerned you would have called me a lot sooner than 2 weeks later. This is absolutely unavailable and not acceptable. I have seen city snow plow drivers plowing private businesses and being paid for it. I have had police show up at my house at 3 o'clock in the morning with the wrong address wich was right next to the door they were knocking on. And when I asked for there names and badge numbers to file a complaint they told me to go F MYSELF AS THEY WERE GETTING IN THEIR CARS AND DRIVING OFF. Are you kidding me!!!!!. My advice to anyone thinking of moving to Pontiac would be avoid this city like a disease!!!!!
My son was robbed at gunpoint skateboarding in downtown Pontiac. His friend was able to take a picture of the 3 perps and give to the Deputy's when they showed up. A deputy named Garrett said he knew who they were ,but to this day ( year later ), nothing has ever been done. Serve and Protect? What a JOKE!!!
I am proud to live in Pontiac! There are plenty of strong, adventurous, and curious types like me.
